While I was collecting new passport stamps I came across one at a place that was really new to me. Elvira Mistress of the Dark has opened a new police Detention Center that is part of SLPD . Elvira tells us "All visitors are welcome, role-players are welcome. Please wander round and check it out". I did just that.
I did just that. I found Elvira on a stage at the back of the center playing the guitar. Not only can one visit the detention center but can also use the stage for parties if you contact her.
Inside the station there are several lockups for prisoners. They look fairly comfortable. I wondered how the food is in case one has to stay for a while. I was able to sneak a bag from one of the cells and food looks ok! I don’t plan on trying the cells out however.

If you are interested in role play there get in touch with Elvira . While there pick up a few police hats that are scattered about the building.

The next place I visited is also a site you do not want to miss . Ceakay Ballyhoo has a lovely and unique art exhibit going on at Impact and Coffee. Pick up information at the landing. It is delightful for walking , or, rezz an atv to take you around. The place is made for it. When you read the information about the art you will find it was all done with AI.
At each art piece is has lovely poem related to that piece. Stop and reflect. There is a garden area where trees and plants created by Teresa Matfield are on display and for sale. Several story memorials are there to read. Her pieces in a smaller version are for sale there nearby. At the far end of garden I found a gift that you will like to have. I could relate to it. She could have put a picture of me in that one!
During the month of June there will be music , poems and story telling at the stage area. Tuesday the 10th DJ Rronnie Mayes will be there at 12 noon. The whole area is done in coffee painted textures. One can find out all the information at the landing area.

Also, attention all Males . The Health Island is all for you this month.
Learn about men’s health and find resources . Many men I know just
don’t like to worry or learn about health and especially don’t like
visiting medical people at all. However we do want to keep you feeling
well and being around so use this opportunity to check out all the
exhibits .
When you land get the notecard which shows the topics to be found around the exhibit area and the slurls. to get to each quickly.
